Description

Every adopter is alerted to any existing health or temperament issues of their chosen cat and receive 4 weeks free Pet Plan cover. The Shelter will also cover any vets fees (at Highfields Vets) for illness notified within 7 days of adoption. The Sheffield Cats Shelter takes its role within the community very seriously. We prioritise taking in un-neutered females, pregnant females and cats with kittens living outdoors, which prevents new colonies from being set up. We also work closely with Social Services and make every effort to fast-track pets needing a place due to domestic abuse or admission to care.

we adopted our cat in 2006, she was called mary we named her willowmeana. she is addorable. She is like one of my children, she follows us around everywhere and loves cuddles. So glad we addopted from the cat shelter, she makes my day most of times with the funny things she does.

I adopted my beautiful female tabby from the Cat Shelter on Travis Way back in 2008. She was approximately a year old. I walked into a room full of cats and she chose me. She has brought me and my daughter so much pleasure, love and affection & is so spoilt we call her Princess Twinkle. I would recommend to anyone to adopt an older cat, not just a kitten. They have so much love to give. Its such a shame when people only choose the small, cute little kittens!
